There have been several debates if the physical appearance of Christians affect their relationship with God. Over the years some female pastors have been criticised for their tattoos.

1. Pastor Lucy Natasha

In April, 2021, the 29-year-old female pastor, Lucy Natasha who is in charge of Prophet Latter Glory Ministries International was criticized by Kenyans for her tattoos.

2. Pastor Nadia Bolz-Weber

The 52-year-old preacher, Nadia Bolz-Weber is the founding pastor of House for All Sinners and Saints. According to a report in December 2013 Nadia Bolz-Weber has been often criticised for her physical appearance which includes the multiple tattoos on her body.

One of the tattoos on her body says: "wild and holy."
